MOUNT EERIE fans will find that the wait for this year’s promised album number two is over this week, as the artist’s latest collection of tracks, dubbed Ocean Roar, will hit stores and MP3 outlets September 4. More noisy and cluttered than Clear Moon, this year’s previous (quieter and more pensive) Mount Eerie collection, Ocean Roar’s “Pale Lights,” features plenty of polar-opposite clashing guitars and keyboards.

RADIOHEAD’S Jonny Greenwood has found yet another side project to contribute his extensive guitar/multi-instrumentalist talents to – he’s teamed up with director Paul Thomas Anderson to score the latter’s new movie, The Master, which is set to hit theatres this month. Greenwood’s worked with Anderson before, and given the critical success of their earlier film/music collaborations, chances are they’ll team up again.

A special 5-CD edition, with a DVD of the Hyde Park show and a Blur Live at the 100 Club disc, will also include a 60-page book featuring exclusive photos from both gigs.
