M. WARD, Snow Patrol, and Franz Ferdinand are among the headliners of the upcoming Corona Capital Fest which is set to kick off October 13 in Mexico City, Mexico. The big event, which brings a plethora of indie-rock and electronica acts to The City of Palaces, will run through October 14 and will also include sets from Alabama Shakes, Miike Snow, The Raveonettes, The Black Keys, and many more.

THE COACHELLA FESTIVAL organisers have announced that they’re putting together a sequel of sorts to their own wildly popular Coachella Valley Music and Arts Fest in California – only the next event will take place on sea instead of in the desert. The new Coachella Cruise will head to the Bahamas on – what else? – the luxury liner S.S. Coachella, with the first jaunt taking place December 16-19 and the second going to Jamaica December 19-23. In addition to DJ tutorials, plenty of dancing, and other activities, cruisers will be treated to performances by the likes of Pulp, Hot Chip, Grimes, Warpaint, Simian Mobile Disco, and Yeasayer, among others.

RADIOHEAD and Bon Iver will both be appearing on the PBS show Austin City Limits this month, with the Radiohead episode set to air later this week on October 6, and Bon Iver’s on October 13. Included in Radiohead’s set are sharp renditions of “Lotus Flower” and “Morning Mr. Magpie,” while Bon Iver’s standout, based on preview footage, is their track “Towers.”
