COLDPLAY are currently hosting an exhibition of original artwork from their latest album, Mylo Xyloto, in order to raise funds for charity. The three original pieces, created by Brit artist Paris (with a few cans’ worth of paint sprayed on by the crafty band themselves), will be exhibited at Proud Galleries in Camden, London until for the next several weeks. where fans (of Coldplay, art, or both) can bid on the works, which measure 2.5 meters x 7 meters. The Mylo Xyloto exhibit will run at the gallery until December 2.

GLEN HANSARD, Portugal. The Man, and Raphael Saadiq are just a few of the artists (speaking of environmental concerns) teaming up with The Nature Conservancy for the latter’s new All Hands On Earth campaign, which is striving to inspire music fans to help protect the environment. Portugal. The Man’s contribution to the charity is a spare performance of their “All Your Light” track, plus footage of the band talking about environmental conservancy – the vid will be utilised to help promote the All Hands On Earth cause.

STING is set to stage a concert in the Philippines on December 9, but decided to move the Back to Bass event to a new venue after he found out that the first venue, the Mall of Asia Arena, had plans to uproot almost 200 trees to build a parking lot. This, of course, would be in direct contrast to Sting’s work with the Rainforest Foundation, so he’s moved the show to the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, where he’ll be appearing with his longtime 5-member backing band and playing a set heavy on his greatest hits as a solo artist and with legendary influential ’80s band The Police.
