MOGWAI have crafted some more new soundtrack music, but as a side project from their own recording pursuits – this set is specifically for the French show Les Revenants. The music itself is set to be released as a full album this week on the band’s own Rock Action Records, but you can get a sneak listen via the French TV channel Canal – check out the whole show if you can speak French, and if you can’t, just listen for Mogwai’s music.

THE GRAMMY AWARDS are set to hit U.S. TV next week, Sunday, February 10, to be exact, when the show will be broadcast from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. Performers at this year’s event include Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, fun., and a returning Taylor Swift, who performed with the Civil Wars last year. Worldwide, the show will be supported on radio via DialGlobal, and you can also get peeks at the happenings on YouTube, Grammy.com, and CBS.com.

SPAIN’S two big music festivals have announced their summer dates and are currently prepping for their 2013 events. Sonar, the popular blend of music, video, and film, is set to be chock-full of live concerts, audiovisual presentations, installation art, DJ sets, movies, medialabs, and more, and is set for June 13-15. Meanwhile, Benicassim will take a slightly more traditional festival approach with music, dance, theater, sculpture, and short movies, and will take place on the beach July 18-21.
