THE CLASH are offering fans a big, big deal this fall, with a mega-massive box set on the way that will include remastered versions of all five Clash albums. The set, dubbed *Sound System* (in stores September 10) will also include a plethora of demos and B-sides, plus a DVD with all of the band’s videos and some cool behind-the-scenes footage; as if *that* weren’t enough, you’ll also get stickers, a poster, a set of Clash dog tags, and more. The band’s guitarist humbly called it “the best box set ever”…

THE MOWGLI’S new album, Waiting for the Dawn, is out now on Island’s Photo Finish imprint, and the band’s already prepped and pre-promoted the set with appearances on Conan O’Brien and on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. The rest of the summer is set to keep them busy with more of the same, as they’ll be on the road for the majority of the next two months with live shows in across middle America. They’ll get a quick chance to do laundry and repack in mid-September, and then it’s back on the tour bus for treks through Louisiana, Arizona, Oregon, and up into Canada…

BAUHAUS’ Peter Murphy has been collaborating with pal/producer Youth on a series of new songs, which are now set to surface in early 2014 as a brand new Murphy album dubbed Lion. Calling the new tunes “operas for the dispossessed,” Murphy plans to work on the album’s production a little more over the summer and fall months, in between his current slate of tour dates, on which he’s playing much of Bauhaus’ music live under his own name.
